Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co, Laois – National Ploughing Championships 2014
SWS Forestry were in attendance in Ratheniska to meet some of the 279,500 people who attended Europe’s largest, outdoor event. All regions in Ireland were represented by our team of foresters and the fine weather added to the atmosphere over the three days.
It was the 83rd year the event has been held in Ireland and the 2nd year it was located in Ratheniska.
NPA Managing Director Ms Anna May McHugh said;
“We are delighted with the overall attendance figure this year. The three days ran very smoothly and the feedback from early on, via social media, has been extremely positive.”
